On the BMW F10, error code B7F668 is nothing to worry about; You'll rarely if ever find it under Your active codes -- it's typically found in "inactive / historical". It indicates that at some point, the system time was reset. This can be thrown if You recode the KOMBI system, disconnect the battery for an extended period of time, or otherwise reset the system's voltage. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) should not be accompanied by any issues; if You're having drivability concerns, You're likely going to need to look to another cause. The biggest problem You'll face with B7F668 is the annoyance of having a code that You (sometimes) cannot clear. Fortunately, this is potentially one of the mildest problems You can have with BMW's "German Engineering" :)

My 2019 430i just came up with that code after I filled up gas from a different gas station(not where I always go to). After I let the gas empty I refilled it with a higher octane gas. It’s been 4 days and that annoying check engine light hasn’t gone yet. Should I just remove and plug back the battery terminals?

Hello! I’ve got this code for almost 2 weeks. Went to a service for a professional diagnose and they told me that the EGR electrovalve was acting faulty, thus turning mycheck engine light on. I’ve changed it, and no problems anymore. The car runs smooth, and there s no check engine anymore. It costed me 300€. Hope this is helpfull.
