On BMW vehicles, fault code CC-ID 29 indicates that there is an engine problem, and therefore the engine power has been reduced. This is not a typical diagnostic trouble code (DTC), such as one that You'd read with an OBD-II scan tool; in effect, it's a more detailed "check engine light". To that end, You'll still need a full scan to understand Your problem. Alongside CC-ID 29, You'll also be receiving some diagnostic trouble codes (one or more), so it's essential that You check those out. The BMW supplied code only indicates that there IS a problem, not what that problem may be; in order to gain a more meaningful insight, You'll still need to perform a full scan.

Hey guys anyone knows what the code "CC-ID 29" means yesterday night I was left without gas 20 minutes later after putting gas in it the code appear on my dashboard today once again it appeared on my screen minutes after putting gas again. I'm low-key scare this might be a big problem since I just recently took it out the shop. Help anyone please it's a 2007 335i

Getting this code Immediately after changing battery. NO PROBLEMS BEFOREHAND! Only after battery change. Everyone is telling me to register the battery. That’s my first step.

Always replace with new when you have the crank no start start there and save yourself-time and the headache. My first bmw life lesson.
I have experienced in fuel pressure pump issue on this error massage.

I try to scan with the Foxwell NT650 Elite and Angel BM700 none of those expensive scanner did not find any errors or any codes while the yellow engine menangement light was on the displays and mini Cooper's own code was displayed CC-ID 029. I cleaned the injectors and manifold replaying all the washers and sealins with including the copper injector washers. Then engine cranks but no start because no diesel comes to injectors. I also replaced the EGR VALVE because one's of the resistor in the electric connector side was burnt. I called one of the curb repair mechanic who spent 2 hours didn't find any code so he could not fix the Mini Cooper 2008 1.6 Diesel engine no fuel pump in the tank but all HPFP only also checked the magnetic fuel valve was OK

I've got the same problem of CC ID 29 code ...my E87 just cranks butdoesn't start...when I leave it over nyt when battery off it will start in the morning..Folks help a brother I've really spent alot.

I have the same code Any oneknow what I can do to fix it
Had a code 29, drove it for 10 minutes. Let it rest for an hour, then when I started it the warning did not appear. Should I still get it looked at?

I was told by mechanic, who scanned my engine, it was a valveteonic issue, after 2-3 hrs continue use I did experienced power loss
