There are actually no "Cigarette Lighter" ports on an Equinox. There are power ports used to plug 12v accessories in to. My 2015 LTZ has a port underneath the HVAC controls in the cubby hole, one in the arm rest console and one in the cargo area. The ones up front are powered when the key is on and the one in the cargo area is powered on all the time.
