On most Chrysler 300Model years, the fuel filter is integrated with the fuel pump assembly. However, unlike most vehicles that include it as part of the assembly, the 300's fuel filter is considered a serviceable part; that means that in the event You need to swap it out, You can. Chrysler makes it relatively simple. I should still note that there is no change interval for the fuel filter, and You likely shouldn't have to complete the procedure. In the rare event that You do, Chrysler sides with automotive owners in that they allow You to access the top of the fuel tank from an access panel inside the vehicle; no jacking up or dropping the fuel tank required.

So do you have to drop the tank to get to the fuel filter?

On the Chrysler 300 the fuel filter is located inside of the gas tank, on the back left of the vehicle.
On a Chrysler 300 2005 if there is a small drip on the passenger's side what causes that?
