If You're just replacing the chain, and nothing else on Your 2016 Ford F-150, that's only going to be $100 to $200 for it. That's the part, not any labor or anything. Add the labor in, and it's going to jump to almost a grand to $1200, because there's a lot that needs to be removed. Usually, though, You're going to replace the timing chain tensioner; if You hear a slapping noise when You're firSTStarted the engine, this could be indicative of a failure with this part. This could also cause the check engine light (CEL) to come on, as well as a rough running engine that hesitates or stalls out completely.
