The jack stand for Your Dodge Ram 1500 can be accessed through the passenger compartment. Open the passenger side front door and You'll notice an access cover between the controls for the seat and the floor. Remove that cover by pulling it towards You slowly. You'll hear a locking mechanism release. Once removed, You'll be able to see the end of the jack beneath the seat. To remove the jack from its place, turn the wingbolt counterclockwise and continue to unscrew it until the bolt comes out. Remove that wingbolt and slide the jack towards You from beneath the seat. To replace it, slide the jack back under the seat. Insert the wingbolt, and screw clockwise until tight. Replace the cover.

If you want to jack up the Dodge Ram 1500, put a jack underneath the frame by the driver side front wheel and then jack it up.
