The 2020 Honda CR-V differential fluid change cost is labor costs are between $40 and $50 and parts are priced between $30 and $70. The differential oil lubricates the ring and pinion gears that transfer power from the driveshaft to the wheel axles. The purpose of the differential fluid is to cool and lubricate Your differential. Without the oil Your differential would overheat due to the metal-to-metal contact and burn itself out.Simply put, a differential is a system that transmits an engine's torque to the wheels. The differential takes the power from the engine and splits it, allowing the wheels to spin at different speeds.

Just checked at apple honda in riverhead… $209.00, for the differential fluid change. Going to try another dealership. Don’t appreciate the hose job at twice the price.

I could be charged as little as $67 dollars! But nope, they want $135.00. I am tired of not only paying the top amount but more than the $117.00 for top amount! I live on a half pension but like Honda. Does Honda like me???

A Honda dealer quoted me $170 and claimed that was already discounted. The fact it has to be done after a break-in period of only15k miles then to find out it cost that much is not making me want to be a repeat Honda customer.
