The OBD-II port in a Honda Santa Fe is located to the left and below the steering wheel. If You are sitting in the driver's seat, there is an access panel in front of Your right knee. Place Your fingers in the slot and pull out on the panel to remove it. The OBD-II port will be at the very bottom of the hole, above it is the fuse block. The OBD-II is used to read and reset fault codes being stored in the computer. A diagnostic scan tool plugs into the port and communicates with the computer to diagnose various issues within the vehicle. There are many sensors spread throughout the car, all these sensors have different functions to monitor. When these sensors either fail or detect an issue the computer will store a fault code in its memory. The scan tool is the only way to accurately determine what issues the vehicle is having.

OBD is under the fuse box panel on the left side bottom of dash. No need to remove fuse box cover on 2022 Santa Fe
