The SD card is located directly above the radio display in a Kia Sportage, right in the middle. BST card holds all the necessary data for the satellite navigation unit. Just like with most computer software they nav/sat system needs to be updated every now and then. When Your system is in need of a software update You can simply pop out the old card and install the updated version. To remove the SD card from its slot, take Your fingernail and pry out on the left side of the SD card cover. It is just a soft rubber piece that covers the SD slot so that dirt and debris can't get inside. The cover will hang once it is loose. Push in on the card to eject it, and then grasp it with Your fingers to pull it out. When inserting the new card make sure the connectors are facing down and towards the front of the vehicle

Not on the axis edition it isn't I have looked everywhere in the car but no joy
I have a 2017Kia Sportage LX, it does not have the SD card in front, nor Apple Car Play, does anyone know where the card is located? Nor do I have navigation. Odd

The Kia Sportage sd card is located near the center of the bank of buttons for your CD/radio. It reads 'SD' in large letters.
