The best power steering fluid F-TYPEor the Land Rover Discovery 4 is Texaco Cold Climate PAS fluid 33270. The fluid reservoir is located on the driver side of the engine compartment between the brake fluid reservoir and the engine oil dipstick. The power steering system is usually fairly reliable and the only time You would need to check the fluid level is when You are experiencing issues while steering. To check the fluid level the car has to be parked on a level surface and allowed several hours for the fluid to cool down. Make sure the steering wheel isn't turned one way or another so the wheels are straight. Now open the hood, pull the hood release lever in the front footwell area on the left side. Now go around to the front of the vehicle and put Your hand between the grill and hood right in the middle and pull up on the safety catch lever and raised the hood.
