If You want to know where the alternator fuse is located on the MINI Cooper, I can help You find it. You will usually find the alternator fuse located under the hood, in the engine area. The fuse box that contains the alternator fuse or relay is located right next to the vehicle's battery. It might seem hard to believe that a small fuse can keep the alternator running but that's exactly how it works. When the alternator fuse blows, the power to the alternator is cut off and as result, the alternator doesn't work. If You do ever have problems with the alternator, it would be a good idea to check the fuse to see if it is gone bad.
I follow the red lead from the back of the alternator like in all the videos. It just leads to the fuse box in the engine compartment. Under the lid oNOTHING says or pictures of an ALTERNATORf the engine compartment fuse box.. In 06 mini cooper S, the battery is under the floors pace of the trunk and, uh, NO FUSES THERE so I would really really like to know this ones secret alternator fuse location, size, shape and color in case it's one of the large black boxes,tiny green boxes or the regular myriad of colors the clip or inline ones come in. The alternator fuse can be found in the main fuse box of the 2019 MINI Cooper.

On the 2009 Mini Cooper S you say the alternator fuse is next to the battery is it just three fuses and they're all connected together and do you have to buy the whole thing
