Where is the 2002 chevy tahoe abs control module located?

The ABS control module on a 2002 Chevy Tahoe is located on the inner frame rail below the drivers seat. It is bolted to the top of the ABS pump with four T-20 Torx head bolts. There are three electrical connectors that need to be unplugged, the two on the front can be removed first and the third once the bolts are removed. One of the connectors has a safety latch the needs to be pulled out before the connector can be unplugged. The module can be pulled away from the pump. Depending on the level of corrosion on the pump and module, You might have to remove them as one unit. Ove time the road salt used in many location will cause the bolts to size in place. This will require some sockets and wrenches. You may need a crows foot wrench as well to disconnect the brake lines, drain the brake fluid first though.
