The body control module in a 2003 Chevy Impala is located beneath the center console in the vehicle. To access it You will need to remove all the paneling from the center console and then unbolt the top of the console from the car and You can find it. There will be multiple wire harnesses that are plugged into a black plastic box. This is a computer that is in Your vehicle and it is designed to control all the things in the body of the car. This controls the locks, the power windows, as well as the alarm system in the car. If You have any problems with any of these systems You should use a scan tool on the BCM to look for computer problems.
