On the 2005 Ford Escape the fuel pump driver module can be found in the rear of the vehicle. It is located behind the panel on the right side of the cargo compartment at the back of the SUV. The fuel pump driver module is what controls the fuel pump and keeps everything working in the fuel system. When this component starts to fail You will usually notice that You have intermittent fuel problems with Your SUV. Usually when this starts to fail You will also get a check engine light at the dash when the ECU detects that there is a problem with the driver and it is not getting the right signals back from it after sending instructions.

It is not inside the right rear of the cargo area. It is actually located under the vehicle on the left side, just inside the framerail by the rear wheel well.
