If You're looking for the cabin air filter on Your 2006 Ford Explorer then I've got some news for You. Your Ford Explorer does not come equipped with a cabin filter. This is actually pretty convenient news since You don't have to spend extra money to replace a filter and time too. What Your car actually has is a plastic mesh that serves the same purpose but does not need to be replaced. What You probably already know is that the purpose of the cabin air filter is to keep the air clear in Your cabin. Lucky for Your though is that You won't need to worry about having it replaced since You have a permanent one installed already.

The ford explorer models from 2006-2010 do not have a cabin air filter, instead there is a mesh filter that does not need to be changed.
