On a 2007 Chevy Silverado, You can find the fuel pressure regulator on the driver side of the engine compartment. Usually under the plastic shroud of the intake manifold. To access it, You might have to disconnect the vacuum line found on top of it. When Your fuel pressure regulator goes bad, You will find issues like Your car mIS Firing, or losing overall thrust power when accelerating. This will also lead to a poor fuel efficiency in the vehicle. For most people, changing this part of the car will require a visit to the auto shop, as it is a little more complex to swap out. If You feel the need to buy the parts Yourself to save money, You can visit Autozone or similar outlets.

If you don't see it on the driver side like everyone is saying. Look on the fuel pump assembly in the gas tank. That's where mine is on a 2006 silverado.

These trucks use an electronic fuel regulator. It regulates voltage going to pump motor to control pressure.

I agree with Steve, it was moved to the fuel pump. It is not on the fuel rail on the newer cars.
