In order to access the body control module (BCM) on the 2008 Chevrolet HHR, You'll need to remove the passenger's side kick panel, located below the glove box. Once removed, You should find the BCM mounted on the left hand side; it is secured in blade by three screws or bolts. If You're wondering about the location because You're hoping to replace it, understand the costs involved. You can expect a replacement to cost around $250 new, or slightly over $200 if remanufactured. You'll often find that instead of a failed BCM, You'll have a failed relay or fuse; it's best to check for diagnostic codes, and then try to isolate the problematic component before You dive headfirst into a full on swap.
