The 2008 Ford Focus' horn is mounted behind the front fender wall on the driver's side within an assembly. The assembly will be bolted to the Focus' frame and can be removed using a 10 mm ratchet wrench. It is accessed from behind the fender and wheel well. Once the housing is loosened from the frame, the horn will drop down. It is plugged into a cable that is connected by a 2 prong pin. Examine the prongs for corrosion or damage before re-installing. Often plugs become d***y with road debris and exhaust fumes and require cleaning to restore the horn's full function. The average cost to replace it, costs between $100-$110 in parts and labor.
