The 2010 Ford Escape 3 0 fuel filter location is beneath the rear seat, right behind the driver's seat. Vehicle parts will eventually become ineffective at some point. The fuel filter needs to be replaced every 30,000 miles or so. If it doesn't get changed, You will come across issues with the performance Having the fuel burn greatly is the key to maximizing Your miles per gallon. Your gas tank needs to be in top shape. You will come into issues at some point. There might be gas leaks, which need to be looked into pronto. The gas tank might become loose. A bad control valve may arise. The gas cap could become stuck and will be quite an ordeal to deal with.

Larry, are you talking about the fuel filter or the fuel pump? I know the pump is back under the passenger seat and filters are usually under the vehicle in the same vicinity as fuel tank. Thought I read that the filter is a non replaceable lifetime filter. Not sure though. I'm getting ready to switch out my fuel pump on my 2010 Escape Hybrid. Was going to replace the fuel filter also until I read that the 2010 has a different set up on the filters and is a lifetime filter.

I can’t find Filter on my customers Escape (3.0) I’m hearing it’s because those are non serviceable part located above gas tank itself. Maybe part of pump as well. Couldn’t find it anywhere under car is how I found out.
