The 2013 Chevy Silverado 1500 fuel filter location is under the vehicle on the frame rail on the drivers side. Having the fuel burn efficiently is the key to maximizing Your miles per gallon. Your gas tank needs to be in the beSTShape. You will come into problems at some point. The gas tank might become loose. A bad control valve may arise. The gas cap can become stuck and will be quite a hassle to deal with. There could be gas leaks, which need to be looked into pronto. Car parts will eventually become ineffective. The fuel filter needs to be replaced every 30,000 miles or so. If it doesn't get changed, You will come across issues with the performance.

The fuel filter on a 2013 Chevy Silverado 1500 is NOT on the frame rail. It is integral to the fuel sending unit inside the tank.

My 13’ 5.3 does NOT have a external fuel filter. So I’d assume it’s in the tank or the black box in front of the tank
