The fuel tank pressure sensor in a 2013 Ford F-150 can be found on the fuel pump assembly that is mounted in the top of the tank. This sensor has the job of measuring the pressure in Your gas tank to make sure that it does not get too high. If Your fuel tank pressure does get too high it will trip the EVAP vent to open up and release some of the pressure from the tank. Usually if Your pressures get too high You will also get a check engine light on Your dash since it measured something out of the normal range. If this part fails You will need to replace it with the rest of the fuel sending unit assembly.
