He location of the jack in the 2014 Chevy Silverado depends on the cab size. In the regular cab models, the jack is located behind the passenger seat. In the Double or Crew cabs, the jack is behind the passenger side of the rear seat on the shelf. The tire changing tools are held in place with wing nuts, rotate them counterclockwise to remove them. Rotate the jack knob counterclockwise to lower the head to remove it from the holder. This jack should only be used to change a flat tire. Never use it to work under the truck. It could fall and cause serious and potentially fatal injuries. Use the jack handle to lower the spare tire, insert the open end into the hole in the rear bumper and turn it counterclockwise.
