The Ford EcoSport spare tire is located on the rear door. Making sure Your tires are in the greatest of condition is crucial to not crashing. You will come into problems with this car part at some time or another. Premature tire wear is something to lookout for. You might run into feathering problems. You could face cupping issues. The part might become loose at some point. Make sure to inspect the tire pressure once a month. Check for holes, in case You run over something sharp. This part will need to be changed eventually. You should change Your tires every 30,000 to 50,000 miles. You don't want to get into any accidents on the road.
If the spare tire is mounted on the rear door, does that mean, the back-up camera can no longer show a rear view?

The ford ecosport does come standard with a spare tire. The tire is optional and if you do choose it, it will be mounted on the rear door.

No spare. This is the dumbest idea any auto manufacturer could have. Being stranded with tire damage too severe for the cheap repair kit and compressor to be useful is not my idea of a good time. Not to mention the safety aspect of being left out in the middle of nowhere.l

Tom, this just happened to me yesterday. Called ford dealership for a flatbed and waited on a bcak road for almost 3 hours until they came, I was not happy.
Doesn't have a spare tire, least not on the 2020 one I bought. I have heard of them fitting the back cargo door. I am not sure if that would interfere with the back-up camera or not
I'm helping a friend with a flat tire & Indeed it's unbelievable that Ford would sell a vehicle with no spare" JUST PLAIN STUPID OPTION" Screw the back up camera, I want my spare tire! Be warned ecosport admirer you may have no spare.

Actually they don’t have one. You have to order a special door to have one on rear door. I didn’t realize one had to check for a spare tire when buying a car so didn’t notice till after I’d bought the car crazy!

It doesn't have a spare tire but you can have one added to the back cargo door.
