The 2003 Ford F-250's fuel pump is not powered by a relay but by a module. The module is located on the bottom of the cross frame above the rear differential. Owners may suddenly experience the pump not working when the circuit board of the module is damaged. This part in the F-250 has been known to suffer from corrosion that causes leaks inside the unit and compromises the electrical wiring. If the fuel pump is failing in Your truck, You'll notice hard starts, sputtering at highway speeds, poor gas mileage, decreased fuel pressure and the inability to accelerate normally. The cost of replacing this part is extensive and ranges from $800-$1,100 in parts and labor.

The fuel pump relay is built into the cjb (central junction box)simply known as the fuse panel under the driver side steering wheel. You either have to replace the whole fuse box or splice in a new relay

The fuel pump relay is integrated into the fuse box under the steering wheel. It took a few weeks to figure out the problem but I replaced the whole fuse box. Once I did, the problem was solved. 03 F-250 5.4L Super Duty.

Many people report the relay behind the radio or under the truck. NOT TRUE. Prior to 2005 there is not Driver Relay. The only fuel pump relay is INSIDE the fuse block behind the access panel to the left of the steering wheel. It is not serviceable (unless you are an expert solderer). You either have to replay the entire fuse block or splice in a separate relay. FORD SUCKS
