The 2015 Toyota RAV4 power steering fluid reservoir can be found in the engine bay. You do not need to do a regular oil change with this fluid, but it has to be topped up from time to time. Only when it goes below the recommended level. Using the proper power steering will help Your vehicle steer smoothly and much easier. If Your fluid is low, it will lead to hard turns and the car will feel heavy. This will be much more noticeable when the car is stationary or moving very slow. So to avoid potential safety issues that could arise from being able to control and steer the vehicle effectively, keep the fluid topped up at all times.

Japanese and Canadian-made Rav4s ("J" or "2" VINs) do NOT have a hydraulic power steering system NO FLUID for years 2013-2018. They exclusively used an electric system and continue to do so, as many models have. The electric system is much cheaper to manufacture and maintain. It changes the feel of the steering, based on speed. A wonderful and responsive system that has less potential to fail like a high-pressure hydraulic system. As always, before trying to put fluid in any hole, make sure you know what that hole is for. The caps are clearly marked with words or an icon. If you do not absolutely know what an icon means, refer to your owners manual or use a search engine and refer to the manufacturer's website. There are tons of YouTube videos from mechanics who drain coolant from oil pans, etc... Don't be one of those types of owners! The wrong fluid could lead to permanent damage or worse, loss of braking or control of your vehicle.
