If the check engine light is on, it will not work wither.
I just bought a brand new battery for the car and fob. Hit the lock button and then held the push start the lights flashed and that was it nothing else happened. Anyone know what that could be?

If the remote start isn't working on the 2013 chevy malibu, hit the lock button once and hold the remote start button for two seconds until the cars light flash.
