If Your 2013 Ford F-150 speedometer is not displaying any speeds then it is most commonly a problem with the vehicle speed sensor. This is the sensor that is on the output shaft from Your transmission that will measure the rotations and give Your ECU a speed for the speedometer. There is also a chance that the problem is with Your actual ECU, however this is less likely. Usually when there is an ECU problem You will know because more than one component in the car will not work. If Your speedometer is not working and You have a check engine light You should read the code to confirm that it is a problem with the sensor. Fortunately replacing the sensor is an easy job that should cost under $100.

If your 2013 ford f150 speedometer is not working check the output speed sensor.

Could be a known issue with that vintage F150, failed Mold Board Lead Frame, causes speedometer to stop functioning until vehicle is shut off and restarted. Also can cause transmission to behave erratically. Ford covers repair if vehicle still has less than 150,000.
