The 2017 Chevy Silverado radio may not be working for a multitude of reasons and the common problems are blown fuse, anti-theft issue, Software update/issue, or damaged/faulty wiring harness. The first thing You can do is check to see if the fuses are blown and You can locate them on the passenger side of the dashboard in the fuse panel. After that You can check the wiring harness or wiring to see if everything is connected properly and there are no signs of corrosion or damage. If You still are having issues after checking those it is best to take the truck to a dealership so they can run diagnostics to find what might be causing the issues.
