If the MMI screen in Your Audi is not working, there could be several reasons that could cause it. To accurately diagnose the issue the first thing You should check is the passenger compartment fuse box. Go to Your fuse box diagram in Your owners manual to find the fuse that powers the display. Pull it out of its slot and hold it up to the light. There is a metal bar inside that connects the two pins. If it is good You'll see the bar completely, if it is blown You will have to replace it. Make sure that You install a fuse of the same style and one that has the same amperage rating. Using a fuse with a higher amperage rating could cause a fire to ignite.

If your Audi mmi screen is not working, you can try doing a hard reset by pressing "setup," the joystick, and upper right button simultaneously to reboot the system.

Had a very similar problem , an audio technician removed my unit from glove bx opened it up and there were some soldering issues , cheap fix and not had a problem since
If ur mmi is not working and your fuse isn't blown and you've tried resetting the mmi with no change to the issue try disconnecting your battery with the key in the acc/on mode , u will notice your traction light illuminated, ignore it it will go off when u start there car and drive off, my audi has done the same, this method is only if you've tried everything else. Goodluck hope this helps, if this doesn't work seek a technician that can replace the unit/units. (Follow me on Facebook Steven brown with the blue ✔️)

The infotainment in my 2022 Q3 is no longer working since mid March 2023 . I got a notice in Dec 2022 that the unit is permanently damaged and there is no fix. Called Audi USA last night and still no fix. How can it be that it is *okay" that the customer drives a car they did not pay for. My settings are stuck. I don't even have the right date and time on display. I am so frustrated.Anyone received a solution to this major issue?

My MMI screen is blacked out, but can hear the music fine and the backup sensor still beeps when in reverse. I ended up changing the fuse and it worked when I first started the car up, but on the 2nd startup the screen went blank again. Any idea what that means?
Had this on my Audi Etron 2016. The mmi screen didn’t pop up . It was like this for weeks. Radio still worked but no buttons on the center console worked to turn it on and off. Tried to reset it with the 3 buttons. Gutted thinking I’d be paying hundreds to have it repaired. Then the battery failed. The car was dead last night. Put jump leads on this morning and it burst into life and the bloody mmi screen popped back up working fine ! So I would say try disconnect your battery and re connect it . Not the car drive one the little on under the bonnet. It worked for me. Audi wanted £147 just to even look at it. ! All sorted now through a dead battery.

Hi there, my audu a3 2l tdi mmi system not working. Even screen not going down i checked the fuse as well can you assist me how to fix this issue.
My Audi Q3 2014 models entertainment system is not working. I took it to the local Audi dealership (Australia) and they pulled out a fuse and then told me is would cost $12,000 to fix as I need a new “dashboard”? Context: I drove it normally around town then it started to not start (seemed like battery died) got battery replaced and still had an issue. Has to turn entertainment system off to ensue could start engine next day. I have the fuse sitting in a glove compartment. Should I get a new fuse or is the $12,000 correct? Everything else works perfectly fine. Thanks for any help
