If the Chevy Silverado radio display is not working then You have a bad fuse. To get to the fuse box look to the left of the steering wheel look for a small seam or crack along the dash. Using a screwdriver or prybar You will want to pop this open. On the inside, You will find a bunch of fuses. On the back of the panel that You pulled open, You will see a diagram that will show You what each of the fuses is for. If this is not on the back of the panel then You can also find it in the owner's annual for the vehicle. Once You have figured out which fuse You need simply pull it out. The two sections that stick up should be connected by a thin strip of metal. If this has been broken then the fuse is no good and will need to be replaced. If this strip is there then the fuse is fine and can be popped back in. New fuses will cost You about 10 dollars, so they are pretty cheap.

So if the fuse is good it may be wiring because mine has a good fuse but still does not work i have power all the way to the radio and i know this because i used my power probe to check and everything is fine just the display dose not work i do not know why so if you have a solution please lmk

I just got a 2017 a couple days ago. My screen is black with no audio but my backup camera will come on. I’ve tried everything on the internet except replacing the screen. I guess that’s my next step
Our issue is the motherboard where the power plugs into the radio we cant get the name of that mother board for the life of us. If anyone has any details please let me know.

Mine goesback on if I press on the center of the display so I'm assuming a loose connection.
We checked all the fuses I checked all the wires everything looks good except for one thing I have something that takes the same exact power cord as the radio does I plugged it into that and no power was coming out of it so I'm wondering if the wire is bad or if it's the power box I have no idea so I'm asking here it's not the fuses fuses are fine I don't know if there's a relay or any other fuse for the screen only if there's any other thing out there that can help me with please let me know I'm wondering if it's the box that the wire plugs into underneath the dash that's behind the glove box I wonder if that box is going bad if so please let me know on how to find out if that's faulty

When the truck is completely off, do the LEDs give you the time when you press the knob? Mine does, but while running, the LEDs are always dark. Radio plays and tunes fine otherwise. Very odd problem.

If the radio or cd player stops working try simply disconnecting the positive battery cable from the battery post for 15 to 30 minutes and then reconnect the cable to the terminal. The system will default to the original settings and the radio should be fine.

Had our 2022 Silverado RST Z71 since October. Our audio was all distortion, update software at the dealer. Now No audio cuts in and out.Some drives 2hrs long no audio.Can restart the truck pull the fuse.No audio. Last night came home and truck would not disconnect from my phone once in the house. Tried rebooting phone still truck would not disconnect. Then dash will not go out with light on shifter. Pulled the stereo fuse left it if it needs a boost will out today if Iam calling a tow truck.

MY DISPLAY WILL COME ON SOMETIMES WHEN I USE THE AUTO START, THEN TURNS OFF, COMES ON WHEN VERY COLD AND GOES OFF WITH THE TURN SIGNALS ARE ENGAGE. I GIVE UP. NOT THE FUSE.

Make sure nothing is covering light sensor on dashboard. Mine was fogged up from ac and I wiped it and cut right on. d**n sensors work to good at times
