If the USB port on Your Chevy Silverado is not working there are several things that You should inspect. The first thing You should look at are the pins in the USB port, make sure that they are free from damage or corrosion because that can lead to a bad connection. The next thing to check after the pins is the wiring to the USB port, if that is loose then the whole thing will not work either. You will want to make sure the connector on the bottom is tight. If none of those are the problem then the final thing You should do is make sure that the software is up to date because that can cause the system to freeze and glitch.

The chevy silverado usb port not working can happen for a myriad of reasons and the most common is a blown fuse. Check the fusebox underneath the steering wheel.
Just bought a new 2023 Silverado and the USB port is not working. Tried my iPod on another new truck on the lot and the same thing. It can't be a fuse or wiring on a brand new vehicle. Tested my iPod on a 2020 Buick & it works fine. The salesman doesn't know what the problem is. Any other ideas out there?

Try to up date the software on your truck that most of the time is the solution
