The 2016 Ford F-150 came from the factory with either a standard CD player or an in-dash navigation screen. Both of these units can develop faults over time and may require service to get them working again. The most common issue with these units is going to be a blown fuse. You can find the radio fuse in the passenger compartment fuse panel in position 33. It is a 20 amp yellow fuse and must be replaced with an identical 20 amp fuse. Another problem could be that the unit has failed completely and will need to be replaced. The simplest way is buying a direct replacement from Ford but that will cost much more than going with an aftermarket head unit and having it installed at a local Audio shop.

If the radio will not turn on, perform a soft reset on the system by holding down the power button and the seek button on the right, for about 5 seconds.
