If you are experiencing operational issues with your MyFord Touch system on your Ford Edge, you can perform a master reset. This will reboot your MyFord Touch system to return it to the factory settings and can help restore system performance.A master reset completely erases all system information: phone book info, call history, text messages, paired devices, saved addresses, and navigation history. So be sure to back up your data before starting the process. And after the reset, be sure to pair your Bluetooth-connected devices again.Using your systems touch screen, touch Settings, then touch System. Navigate to the second page of the System menu, then touch Master Reset. When SYNC prompts you, touch Yes to continue. Performing scheduled system maintenance¦ appears on the touch screen for several minutes.The home screen reappears. The master reset is now complete.

Of the screen is completely black, then how can you push buttons to navigate to the settings in order to perform the master reset?? My screen is black and completely unresponsive to touch!!!!

Also you can hit the power button and forward, reverse track buttons at same time. Hold for about 10 seconds..

Battery died had to have AAA jump. No radio or navigation screen black. Tried all the suggestions still nothing? Any other suggestions?

My screen is major glitching. I can’t use the touch screen or back up camera because it’s acting like i having a seizure. I have to try and time it to turn off the display or else it will blind me with the strobe light effect. Help!

My screen all black on a trip to grocery store. After I got home. Park the car in the garage and restart it. Hit power button on volume and after a while. It shows "Performing scheduled system update" and then it return back to normal. Think it's a system update from Ford.

My screen comes on. The backup camera works. The touch doesn’t work. I can’t change my radio station, turn in my heated seats or even switch it to am/fm
I have a 2018 Edge Titanium. My Screen went black. Below the screen is the large round audio dial. I pressed dial and held for 10 secs, while simultaneously pressing the “Seek” and “tuning” arrows near dial. It worked, center Nav screen reset.

Black screen…turn off engine. Hold down volume button and FF button while restarting.. That’s what worked for 2022 Edge. This is so dumb. 🧐

Volume button and fast forward button did the trick for me! Turn engine off, then restart. Hold the volume hard button and the fast forward button together simultaneously for 5 seconds to re-boot.

Notified our dealership where we bought the car and service guy said he’s never heard of this happening but will take the car in to look at it for $199.00!!! What kind of a rip off is that?? And if he’s never heard of it, perhaps he should check into it!!
