The power steering pump is a common reason why Your Ford F-150 can whine as You accelerate. If it becomes too low on fluid, it will make a lot of noise. You have to check the level of the fluid and fill it back to the fill line. Another cause of a high pitched whine or squeak could signify a problem with pulleys. The bearings in the idler and accessory pulleys will whine when they go bad. A loose steering belt could also cause this. When it happens, the sound will occur when You are turning the steering wheels. Tightening the belt will solve this issue.

The power steering pump is a common reason why your ford f150 can whine as you accelerate. If it becomes too low on fuel, it will make a lot of noise. You have to test the level of the fluid and fill it back to the fill line in the warehouse. The pump could go out, too.

Rear end differential racers worn. Lighter materials not holding up. More of a nuisance than anything to worry about. Bearing are likely still good.
