Why is the ford fusion usb port not working?

Hold the search and the power buttons until the screen gets rebooted. Then try to use the problematic USB port. It should be working now. Ford Fusion has a known problem that affects a part of its non-essential electrical components like the USB port. The problem is sometimes related to the apim module causing the system to have a configuration error. If the above solution does not work, try checking the fuse designated to the port. If the fuse is blown, You can have it replaced to restore functionality. Sometimes fuses blow out to protect electrical components from damage.

What is the search and power bottoms ? I need to reboot everything because the fuse are fine.. I believe my usb port got little wet..

If the usb port is not working on a ford fusion, most likely the sync model is not working. The fuse should be unplugged then plugged back in.
