There are three ways to go about opening the trunk on the 2005 VW beetle. To start You can use the keys and insert them into the lock on the back of the trunk. This is the traditional way of doing this. The other option that You have is to use the button on the inside of the cab of the car. Look for the button with an open trunk icon on it. Press this and You will open the trunk. If this does not work then the fuse is bad and needs to be replaced. Finally, You can use the button on the key fob itself. This will open the trunk from range and should work even in the house.

2005 vw beetle conv. Truck have no key and no means to open it manually for info.
These are stupid answers. I know what's wrong already but how I go about it. Where is the "fuse" located? Please?

If the door or trunk on the 2005 vw beetle will not open then the button is broken, it is not getting power, or the latch is rusted shut.
