The most likely cause for the USB port to become non-functional is a fault in the wiring. However, there could be a number of other reasons why it couldve stopped working. First of all, You need to make sure that the cord Youve attached with the port works fine before proceeding. It is possible that there could be a hardware or software malfunction which would need to be checked by a professional. Dust particles could have also entered the port which would have rendered the port non-responsive. Make sure You have cleaned the port thoroughly before takeng the vehicle for repairs. If the problem persists, check the fuse linked to the usb port. A blown fuse will cause the port not to work.

Before replacing the USB ports and chasing wires or replacing fuses try resetting the radio and forgetting personalization. This is what resolved my problem. I spent a bit of time taking out the hub and putting in a new one and replacing fuses and then tracing wires. Turns out a reset resolved the issue.

In the settings, check “auto-connect usb ports.” Mine had been turned off, and when I turned the setting on they worked, as god intended!

Check fuses #37 and #38. If no sound is coming from radio, just reset car by turning it off and turning it back on. Fixed my issue! #38 was my issue
