There are a few different reasons why the screen in Your Infinit Q50 will fail to work, and the reason for failure usually depends on the method of failure. For instance, is the screen receiving power at all Is it simply not responding to Your inputs Does it show a blank screen, either blue or black Each method of failure can tell us something. If You don't have power, You're either looking at an issue with the component itself, or with its associated wiring. If it's showing a blank screen, You're probably looking at a software issue. If there's display output but it's unable to accept Your inputs, then the problem is most likely with the digitizer underlying the screen -- unfortunately, this will necessitate total replacement as well.

I called the dealership and was told to press and hold the volume button until it reset. Worked perfectly. Free of charge.
I have an Infiniti G37x my screen turns black after 30 mins of driving my car it'll randomly shut off & my ac will blow uncontrollably & it sucks because it's stuck on 75 when the screen goes dead so you can imagine how hot it is during the august humidity can anyone help?
Both my screen went black. Tried the power button truck didn’t work. Tried to unplug the negative side on my battery didn’t work either. Any other tip?

My 2020 Q60 red sport, w/ 6k miles only, just had nav screens go black (June 2023) and holding volume button down for 20 seconds or so did the trick (hold it until the screen gets a little brighter). Thanks JD. Saved me $ & trip to dealer.
