Your Mitsubishi Outlander's radio display may fail in one of several ways. If You have a modern model year that's touch screen enabled, You may have damage to the screen or digitizer, even if visible trauma is not perceivable. This will cause the unit to not accept Your touch inputs, and can eventually lead to all around screen failure. If You're working with an older Outlander, or one without a touch screen, then it's likely that You've got a blown fuse, typically caused by a wiring issue. Check Your radio fuse, and replace it if its burnt out. Just know that fuses don't blow for no reason, so You'll need to continue Your diagnosis. A voltage surge is a common reason a fuse will fail, so You'll next want to check wiring components for any stripped or shorted wires.

The 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander radio display not working causes are loose wire or blown fuse.

What does it mean when the bottom left-hand corner is working on my touchscreen 2019 model outlander
Sometimes My screen goes black while Im driving and when I back up it always goes black for a few second while im backing up. Dealer says theres nothing wrong. REALLY??
I have a 2020 outlander. My touch screen stopped responding. I called Mitsubishi a few months back and the dealership said that it has been happening to a lot of their cars. I ask it it was covered under warranty and I was told no. The salesman said that the radio warranty was over after 20,000 miles. A new system out of pocket is around 2000.00! My cars only three years old. I don’t even have 55,000 miles on it yet! Seriously Mitsubishi should cover this!
If your driving a 2022 outander and radio shutts down while in park and starting engine, look to make sure that if your cell is connected that the cell battery is not down 18% or less , if so turn cell off or remove it from car untill charged over 25%. Or your radio will not respond untill action is taken.
I have a 69 plate Outlander and the Multimedia system has failed. It is now a recognised warranty issue and Mitsubishi dealers are having weekly, if not daily reports of this issue. The main problem is that Mitsubishi are awaiting replacement units from the manufacturer and these are not readily available. There is no estimated delivery date for the units and some have been waiting up to 5 months. Apparently these issues are not just restricted to Mitsubishi as the units are manufactured by a third party and are supplied to other car manufacturers. Allegedly faulty manufacture. I don't see a quick fix.

I have a 2021 Outlander Sport and mytouch screen stopped working two months after I bought it. WHEN IS MITSUBISHI GOING TO ISSUE A RECALL? This is obviously a worldwide problem and Mitsubishi needs to fix it!!!!

My girlfriend's 2020 is doing the same - not responding to inputs and making speaker calls randomly to prople on her contact list. It's dangerous as it seems to reset on/off and permissions after each use. Same BS from Mistsubishi dealers here in Ontario and Quebec. Retail new system quote in Cornwall is $4,000. Means they probably wholesale for about $600. Vlass action time for sure.
My mitsubshi touch screen stop working and my car only hae 55,000 miles on it

Go to your main dealer as it is a warranty issue up to 5 years old
