The Nissan Rogue's volume control may fail from time to time, and the most common reason is a mechanical fault within the volume knob itself. It may be d***y, damaged, or completely failed; there's not much of a way to find out without removing the cover of the knob and seeing what You're able to discover. Once You have meaningful access, clean the hardware that the volume knob fits onto with isopropyl alcohol and a cotton swab or similar. If this doesn't fix Your issue, You may need to replace Your hardware. Occasionally, the Rogue's volume setting control will fail when it's cold out, but will work when the vehicle heats up; unfortunately, there's no known fixAside from again replacing the hardware, though the issue should be intermittent and alleviate on its own.

Our 2021 Rogue SV sound quit working. The buttons below the screen would not work either. Held the power button for 10 seconds, the Nissan logo came on. The buttons works, sound back to normal. We have an appt on Wednesday, if all goes okay by Tuesday I will cancel the appt.

If the volume is not working in your Nissan Rogue, check your audio fusses and then examine the wiring behind your radio and vehicle's dash.

I could see the volume meter changing but no sound. The reset took care of it. Thanks!!
