It has low ground clearance but loads of torque.
This vehicles performance is amazing. It rides smooth. It handles well. It has a Bose stereo and heated seats. My only complaint about this car is the price of replacement parts. It can use the same parts as any Chevy ls engine but it has an added price because it is the cts-v.

Enjoy and maintain
I am the original owner of an '05, and I recently bought the car back so I guess I liked it a great deal compared to the many many cars and trucks which I have owned. For the era the car was an ultra high performance vehicle; it is not a Chevy and it does need some special normal maintenance such as replacing the transmission, axle power steering and brake fluids every 50,000 miles. If that is done it will not have any expensive repairs. Oh, There are the hydraulic motor mounts which may last 90,000 miles but probably won't. That said, the car is an absolute joy to drive. It has exquisite handling and with its Brembo brakes stops as well as it handles. The 04-5 use an LS6 racing engine, which was replaced subsequently with a mass produced but still outstanding engine of the same horsepower. If you buy one make sure that the fluids are replaced; if in doubt replace them. Enjoy the car. Oh, if you don't know how to shift your're out of luck since the first gen only came with a Tremac T56 six speed manual.

Car review for car that I drove.
General issues with the car occurred. I have had general wear and tear and the dealership doesn't care. General issues such as break light tail end and those things. The brakes sometimes were sticky too. But it was nice in generally I like the car a good deal.
