Great truck to own and tow with.
Very reliable, very comfortable to drive. It is a gas hog and it is not good in rain or snow. It tows anything I want to pull and without much effort. Rides very smoothly and the big engine ensures you can pull into traffic without effort.

2000 Chevy Silverado hd 4wd.
I bought it new, haven 220k miles with only minor problems. I tow, haul heavy loads along with carry friends and family members often. It is 4wd and I off-road comfortably. It still gets 15+ mpg and uses no oil between changes. The paint still looks great except for small area on roof. This truck is everything I could want in an everyday vehicle.

Chevy 2500hd is the new trailblazer for camping and pulling.
I love my 2500hd Chevy, it can pull, tow anything. The side doors help so much. I also have a gooseneck hitch on it that helps so much when pulling anything heavy. The seats are amazing and you can align them just right for comfort. I am happier with my 2500hd Chevy than I am with my 04 jeep. This Chevy is nice has a big 496 and a huge 25 gal gas tank. That gas tank is a blessing when we are traveling to Texas every year. If you are looking for a Chevy, I highly recommend the Chevy 2500hd.

It's old, but it still feels like a new vehicle. I use my truck--USE it. I don't baby it. It has wear and tear, but it still feels like new.
It's reliable. It's large. It makes me feel independent. It's comfortable for everyone in my family. I don't like that certain things fell apart because they were made of plastic that wouldn't survive in Arizona heat. That's just shoddy workmanship. But, I can live without those things, and still love my truck.

The gas mileage is terrible. I only get about ten miles to the gallon.
The truck is very dependable. Have never had any problems with it. I love the four wheel drive. It is nice.

2001 Chevrolet Silverado 2500hd, a very reliable v8 truck.
I purchased this truck because of where I live, needing a vehicle with 4 when in drive capabilities and something easy for me and my kids to get around. The truck does only seat 5, so if you have a bigger than average family full time this is probably not vehicle for you. This vehicle is equipped with heated leather seats, all power window and seat controls. It gets decent gas mileage for being a v8 truck, I average about 11-12 mpg in town. Have not done any highway driving in it, but have been told it averages about 15-16 mpg. No major problems to list, only have had to do regular vehicle maintenance on this vehicle. It has been extremely reliable since I purchased it, and gets me to where I need to go every time I leave my house.

Will pull a trailer all over this country
I love my Chevy. She is beat up a little . Needs a paint job. I've had to fix the radiator and changed spark plugs on it

Does the job! Will last many years more!
Great vehicle for towing travel trailers, boats, plenty of family memories with mom, William and Jonathan, pretty good gas mileage too!

It's rough and tough time getting to know you and see how much you want to spend on Dobson you get
Like that it's capable of carrying a payload or being able to pull a heavy trailer, though dependable, I don't like that it's old and worn looking

I feel safe driving this truck in Northern Maine. It seems very well constructed and feel my family is safer in it in case of an accident.
If you live in moose country its sits higher up and has a strong body and frame. Nothing is accident proof but I feel safer in this truck then a car.
