Comfort is above average comfortable. It is useful for long travels.

Chevy Tahoe’s Not Reliable
We owned our 2017 Tahoe LS for 3 years and started experiencing issues after about 30,000 miles. We took our Tahoe to the Chevrolet dealership for every service when it was due. However, our battery went out, AC condenser, and transmission went out out. At 50,000 miles, the issues keep coming. Good thing we purchased the extended warranty. We plan to trade it in once we are not upside down. Do your homework before you buy a GM vehicle.

Chevy Tahoe review and recommendation.
The Chevy Tahoe lt is great for my family of five. The third seat is great with the two captains’ seats in the middle. And it even has storage space in the back. The leather is very easy to clean. The sound quality is outstanding. And the dashboard controls are well thought out. I highly recommend a Chevrolet Tahoe.

Love my Tahoe as the owner/driver but not the passenger.
My Tahoe is an amazing car for those who love big vehicles that are spacious and look nice and elegant. This is what I would call a mom car for the modern mom. My Tahoe has captains chairs but I wish I had the option to add the chair in the middle. The back row is extremely limited with leg space, it is very tight so it isn't the best car to pack up for long road trips.

I love that it is comfortable and I feel safe when driving it. I love the features. I don't like the back storage. It lifts toward rear so if things are not secure they fall out when opening the back hatch. I wish it had a storage area that was deeper to contain items better. Also, the leg room is a little tight in the rear seats.

Perfect seat movement for a comfortable ride/drive.
The Tahoe has a great ride regardless of road conditions. The comfortable seats support any kind of back issues. Changing and moving the seat selections helps to keep me from tiring. The only thing I dislike is trying to get into the driver’s seat with anything in my hands.

Does better on gas mileage than I expected, comfortable, love the third row seating option. Navigation is nice, love the heated seats. The only problem we've had was the paint began peeling off the back of the car which the dealership fixed without issue. Great winter time car and great if you have a big family

Love my Chevy Tahoe so much! Get one if your having twins!
Great car for kids! We bought it because our four runner was too small for our newborn twins. You have to carry around so much stuff for newborn babies and double for twins so we realized we needed a much bigger car. We chose the Tahoe instead of the suburban because it is bigger but much hotter than suburban which makes it easier to park and get around.

DVDs players in back of seats so super nice for kids and long trips.
Super nice car and lots of room. Third row is super nice and seats can go up or fold down for extra trunk storage. Also has 4 wheel drive and super great in bad weather. Gets about 18 miles a gallon. Love the car a ton and would for sure but another one down the road! Has build in DVD players also so super nice for kids and long trips.

I love my Tahoe, it has plenty of space, I love all the features it has. There is plenty of cargo space in the rear. It is loaded with Chrome trim. My favorite feature is the DVD player in the back, the ease of putting middle and back rock seats down. I love the bucket seats and how they recline.

The Chevy Tahoe is overall a very reliable vehicle.
It is very good in the winter and in snow weather. The recommended gas is 87 and I spend about 50 dollars to fill it up. The performance is very good as far as power. The driving is very smooth and cozy. It also has very good safety features. The only thing is that the standard lt model does not have fog lights and heated steering. Which could be a hassle at times.

2017 Chevy Tahoe. Great vehicle for a bigger guy, does his share of traveling.
I dislike the poor gas mileage. Needs to do a better job. I do like it being a full size and domestic unit. Lots of room for a large family and 85 pound dog without the feeling of being cramped. I feel very safe and secure in it. Should something happen I trust the brand and know it will b be fixed.

High quality, heavy duty, safest SUV out there.
I recently had a wreck (July 2019) in a 2015 Tahoe. I was at a complete stop and was hit from behind by someone in a delivery truck who running 60+/- mph. It completely totaled his truck and barely damaged mine at all. After seeing the results of that accident I will never drive anything other than a Tahoe.

Very comfortable seats. Easy to clean. Doesn't have a ton of room in the back with the third row up for towing anything large such as luggage. Terrible for vacations with 7 people. Other than that I love it, love the stow away third row. Bucket seats are a great feature in the second row.

The battery compartment is in a odd place.
It is comfortable, comes with very nice interior designs. Very nice for long drive and road trips. Lots of space and room to breath. Great venting system. No crying about the ac not coming to the back of the vehicle. Great mileage surprisingly. Haven't had one issue. We have only had it a year now.

A good car when in need of extra room.
I would say that the only problems I personally have with the car is the amount of blind spots, but the back up sensors/cameras really help out with that. The comfort is fantastic, great for needing room for extra bodies in the car, lots of storage. Very comfortable and safe!

Transmission shifter blocks one AC vent. It lags take off speed. AC does not get cold enough. Does not conceal outside noise very well. Rough ride maybe from OEM tires. Sound system could use tweaking OEM speakers are getting worse. Sound quality is bad. Upgrade to aftermarket

The Tahoe is very roomy and feels like a quality built vehicle. The towing capacity is outstanding. However, it does seem to struggle with overall power and its ability to get up and go as it takes time to shift gears resulting a slower transition. But it offers high end details and affordable price make it our go to.

An interesting detail was there was a charging port in the middle compartment.
Handles very well an perfect for snowy conditions. Has very well build upholstery and two charging ports. The brakes are very reliable. I would 100 percent recommend for someone with a family or if you need a good car for snow. There is a total of eight seats in the car with good trunk space in the back.

Good family car for a suburban family.
The check engine light has been on for no reason multiple times. The rubber around doors likes to fall off and has to constantly be pushed back up. It is very comfortable and reliable. No major concerns with quality and my kids fit spaciously with all their spots equipment.

Chevy Tahoe safety and luxury features.
I have no issues with this at all. I love the safety features, the lane assist, backup camera, front and rear beepers for parking. I do not like the fact that I was forced to buy a luxury package to get remote mirrors. I like the keyless entry, keyless start, heated seats and steering wheel, heated rear seats. I think a Chevy should go back to the removable third row, not everyone needs or wants a third row.

The Chevrolet Tahoe is extremely reliable. I have two 18 year old siblings who are always needing to be driven around to various things and this car has held up through it all. My sister dances and goes to dance school four times per week. My brother plays football and has practice five to six times per week. Great for lugging the family around.

I have a black 2017 Tahoe and I love the way it drives. I never have any issues with it so far so good! I noticed the type of tires does affect the driving performance too. I recently put all season tires on and it drives really nice opposed to whatever tires were on the car when I purchased it. Only negative is it sucks up a lot of gas so better when gas prices are low!

CarPlay..Hands down the best feature Chevy offers for safe driving.
This is our family vehicle and we have owned this car for almost 2.5 years. We have not had any maintenance issues yet. We really enjoy having the third row for extra seating. The middle seats are bucket seats which makes it very easy to climb into the third row. The seats in the front and middle row have seat warmers which is very nice because leather can be very cold in the winter months. Our favorite feature is the CarPlay option which allows our phone screen to be displayed on the screen when plugged in.

I currently have a white Tahoe with black wheels, that matched the black leather interior. I have also added aftermarket side steps to ease getting into the vehicle. For looks, I have plasti-dipped the front grill in matte black to match the rest of the vehicle design. However, the injectors keep going out and annual recalls, but love it overall.

2 captain seats on the second row are very convenient for kids getting in and out of the 3rd row. It has all the bells and whistles I'd ever want. The cargo space is a little small when car camping, but is more than enough for grocery store trips. My Tahoe is a very solid car that is incredibly easy to drive.
My Tahoe is so easy to drive. It turns corners like a small car would. I love having to step up to get in and feeling like I am sitting high up. It gives me a sense of security. A few months ago, a smaller car rear-ended me as I was sitting at a stop sign. I barely moved forward in my seat yet the whole front of his car was destroyed. It is also very roomy inside and very practical with kids.

The Tahoe is very comfortable and roomy. It has great features, is fun to drive and looks awesome. I love the running boards that fold out when you open the door making it easy for a short person like me to get in and out of the vehicle. This vehicle is spacious and comfortable. I has great handling ability and in my opinion a very safe vehicle to drive. It seats five and has a large storage space in the back. But the back seats lay down flat so you have a huge amount of storage space. It gets better gas mileage than I would have thought considering the size. I like the feeling of sitting a bit higher than most other vehicles on the road, that gives me the ability to see more than just the car in front of me. Plus, its a Chevy.

Overall the Tahoe is an excellent vehicle. It is comfortable and reliable. The only downside is the pressure variance that occurs on occasion. It always happens if only some of the windows are down. Other times it can feel harsh on the ears with the windows up. I still love it, but the pressure thing bothers my daughter.

My Tahoe has plenty of room, is a good sized vehicle which allows me to feel safe when driving on the road. It has good get up and go when you press the gas pedal and is overall pretty reliable. All cars can have issues from time to time. It has a CD player for entertainment purposes as well as radio. Extra plugs to allow for charging devices to be plugged in. Tahoe transmission issues have shifted another customer into reverse!
I have driven a Tahoe for years as my main vehicle. I loved the new style of my 2017, however... Major transmission issues, mine. My daughter's 2016 and son in law 2018. All have same issues and absolutely no fix to solve horrible shifting and acceleration hesitation. Transmission repaired multiple times and replaced by dealer. 80,000 miles and worse than ever. It is hard to find a vehicle that can compete with the Tahoes size and design. Due to drivetrain issues and gm dealers lack of customer support and product quality- I will never buy another gm product.

Pros and cons of the 2017 Tahoe.
Lifters has a lot of issues in this year model. It does not have as much as room as the 2013’s did. It runs and drive great. It definitely has more power the then older ones did. I like the back up camera, I wish it had the full screen backup camera. The next one I get I will make sure it has the full camera, the little camera makes it hard to see what’s behind you, especially at night.

Bought car brand new and so far have had no issues with vehicle maintenance just maintenance on recalls. Extremely reliable to take long distances. As far as comfort for long distances I'd prefer the 3rd row to be more spacious but plenty of room between front and second row seats.

2017 Tahoe Reliability
AC Condensor went out at 87,000 miles and now a Transmission at 90,000 miles. Chevy Transmission reliability is junk compared to SUV’s from other manufacturer’s. Dealer wanted 4500 for repair and I refused to pay that. Transmission shop had a 2014 model with same mileage in for the same problem. Chevrolet is making transmission shops rich. Wouldn’t waste my time on a Tahoe.

My 2017 Tahoe is amazing in almost every way. It is safe, stylish, responsive and has the capacity to haul most purchases, making the Tahoe a practical, wise choice. The price is on the higher side, but the Tahoe retains a strong resale value and as you know, you rarely pay the full sticker price for a vehicle. The true cost of a vehicle is the price you pay, minus the price you get when you sell or trade and with a high resale value the Tahoe really does not cost that much to own in relation to the competition.

Perfect for families and comfort.
Love the loaded features, leather seats, entertainment package legroom in middle row. The trunk is smaller than we are used to and cannot hold very much. Drives smooth for a truck. Love the backup camera. Fits car seats and families well. We've used it to tower a travel trailer and it is works perfect.

Amazing vehicle that is not only comfortable to ride in, but has plenty of power when its needed. The comfort and amenities inside help on longer trips. Satellite navigation, heated/cooled seats as well as a very quiet interior.

In summary, I would definitely purchase the vehicle again.
I purchased my Tahoe with 300 miles on it. I really like it although I have had to have it in the shop several times. The shocks had to be replaced several times. I believe it was only due to faulty shocks being installed. The air conditioner condenser went out at 32000 miles. They also put a sway bar on my vehicle.

My vehicle is very comfortable, spacious, and clean.
It is really nice, no problems at all, very comfortable and perfect for a big family. It has comfortable seats and was affordable. Has good ac, seats, perfect amount of cup holders, and good radio. It is very spacious and it can take us anywhere. We can go a long distance without having to constantly be stopping for gas.

It great space and I love it.
Seating for up to nine passengers. Standard v8 engine assures plenty of passing power and a substantial tow rating. Nicely trimmed cabin is one of the best in the class. Available two-speed transfer case gives the Tahoe better than average off-road capabilities. Maneuvering in tight spaces is challenging. Loading cargo is difficult due to high floor. Less overall cargo capacity that many other full-size utility vehicles. Engine does not respond to gas pedal inputs quickly enough.

No problems. Very reliable vehicle. I love the comfort and all the features that it has. We have a DVD player in ours and it is a lifesaver especially when we travel.

2017 Tahoe comfort with travel.
I have had my car for almost two years now and have not had any issues with it. It is very comfortable to travel in and has plenty of room to travel with family.

I love how the Tahoe has been redesigned to look on the outside. I also really like the heated-cooling seats. I do not like the way the third row seats do not lay flat when put down.

Tahoe... Perfect for a family of 4 or 5.
I love my Chevy Tahoe. It is my dream car. I love how comfortable it is, but most of all I love the power it has on the roads. Chevy service has also been great. The parking sensors broke, but warranty covered them. It is also comfortable for my kids to ride in the pilot seats. My husband enjoys this family car as well.

The navigation keeps me hands free and from looking at my phone. The spaciousness of being able to have more passengers and space in my vehicle.

Love my Tahoe! Great family vehicle!
I have only had my Tahoe for a short time, but I love it! We have not encountered any problems with the vehicle yet. The ride is super comfortable. The vehicle has navigation, Bose speakers, heated seats, power liftgate and the towing package. Would definitely recommend!

That they don't hold value and just after 18 months of ownership it went down 20,000 plus in value.
I like the amount of space inside the vehicle. The car rides comfortable, and little road noise. The car is stylish and provides the family plenty of room.
