My car is so easy on gas. It makes it so much easier to save money than a lot of other cars!
I own a silver neon. It is absolutely great on gas and mileage. It is very easy to maintain and take care of.

Amazing vehicle bad gas mileage but gets you where you need go and never break.
I love this vehicle it is big and gets me where I need to go whenever I need to go. 4 wheel drive, it has bad gas mileage but it is still worth it just for the simple fact that it goes anywhere. I have had it for so long and it still drives amazing. I do not see it breaking anytime soon and I have not had to put any work really into keeping it up.

My little black neon. Nothing fancy, nothing great. But she's everything to me.
My car is not anything special. You don't need to be rich or special too own it. You don't need to be lucky. But I love my little black sporty baby. My neon may be a small, 4 cylinder but when I am finished driving it I feel like you do when you get off the best roller coaster there is.

Dodge neon love it or hate it
I love my dodge neon. Pros is it has a nice comfy selection of seats and is roomy for a sedan of its size. It's gauge cluster is simple and clean looking. It gets between 29 and 37 mpg. I have a 5 spd however auto may vary. The automatic transmissions are not very strong. So if you select a neon get the 3 speed auto or a 5 spd. The engine mounts in the center often need replaced if driving heavy. I have my stock head gasket clutch in the car still at 260k miles.

Dodge Neon. A car like in like no other.
Dodge Neon is a small compact car. The seats are bucket seats in the front and the back seat can see three to four people. The back seats pull down where you can have access to the trunk without leaving the car and walking around. Damian provides a smooth ride for anyone driving.

I love my car in spite of the maintenance I have to do on it. At least.
My car was a gift to me, it is been five years since I received it. I have had to do some work on it. Timing change, thermostat and regular maintenance. I still have a problem with the heat in the winter. It takes a long time to heat up but I do not mind so much at least I am driving.

Mine has been very reliable for me and she's got well over 200000 miles on her.
I bought my neon used had no experience with the model but it was in my price range and not to ugly!! After 1 initial mechanical problem that I fixed it has run great for the last 2 years. I am a fan of this model now

2002 Dodge Neon 5 speed: it is the best running car ever.
My car has been very reliable, I have kept up with the yearly maintenances on it. I put a timing belt in it every 100, 000 miles! I have kept up with oil changes as well, overall it has been a great running car for the miles on it. As long as you keep up with the common things you have to do with cars then there is no problems!

I think all dodge vehicles in general are great cars when in good condition
Unfortunately right now my vehicle has many issues some of those issues being as simple as no air condition to the more serious issues such as transmission problems. When I first purchased the car it was it ran fine it was great and reliable but now that it's older and doesn't like the start if it gets too cold out or it can overheat. I do believe some of the issues may be caused by accidents the vehicle has been in at least 3 accidents have occurred since I have owned it.

Run! Don't EVER buy a Neon. A great car if you enjoy driving a toaster, have unlimited money for all the repair bills and enjoy watching it rust before your eyes.
No working air conditioning. Power windows in the front don't work. And the rock scientist at Dodge decided to put ONE outside key lock on the car because they were too cheap to spend a dollar by putting one on the passenger side.

It is just old to me. I'd love something more dependable and nicer. I do not even have power locks or windows. It is a bit discouraging.

I would not recommend anyone buy this car.
This car has so many problems especially with the tranny mounts and motor mounts. Idles really rough. Gutless and that's with a tune up.

The upkeep of this car is expensive and always talk to a mechanic when you buy a car.
It's not a good car. It breaks down easily. It cost an arm and a leg to repair the vehicle

It was a nice car in it's younger years. Good gas mileage, good heater.
It has a very good heater. But it is falling apart.

Blessing and a curse. Much room for improvement.
The vehicle is too old and gives many problems. I am glad I still own it but would very much love the means to obtain a much better ride. It does not even have power locks and windows. Has a lot of rust and feels to me as though it is on its last leg. Just pray it lasts until I can do better.
