The GMC Sierra 2500HD is a dependable good looking truck.
This had been the best vehicle ever. Tough,dependable,looks great, long bed hauls anything. The only complaint would be the way the crew cab doors open. Love love love my GMC truck

Wishing for a current model of this truck!
Awesome power, comfortable ride - even when towing. Generally very reliable, but since it was idle for a long time before I acquired it an occasional gremlin pops up to be addressed. So far no deal breakers.

Great GMC for family and work.
The vehicle is outstanding. Lots of power. Great for pulling and extremely dependable. Great on snow and ice. Did well being driven across country and in the mountains. Used is Alaska in the backcountry and wouldn't buy anything else. Planning on buying another soon.

The long bed allows me to haul heavy machinery to any side businesses event.
The truck has loud brake pads from being overused. The door handle for the back passenger seat broke more than once. The long bed has a few scratches from over the years. The driver's door also has a scratch and dent. I chose to drive a long bed because my side business requires a lot of heavy machinery. I load three different carnival food machinery along with the product packaging and utensils necessary to prepare them.

Overall a good truck for a small family.
I do not have many problems with this vehicle. The older it gets the more work it needs over time but that can be expected. It is very loud. It is also very big so you should be comfortable with larger vehicles. It is a good truck for a small family overall.

If your going to pull a heavy load allison is the way to go

Outstanding vehicle for the year and miles I have on it.
Very reliable regardless the miles, unless under 150k its possible head gaskets blow or you will have injector problem for the year that this engine was manufactured. Some tend to have mass air flow causing your vehicle to blow massive clouds of black smoke however you can fix that issues, just costs you some money.

The had GMC 2500 is built tough, putting on 250000 is just getting broken in good, 6. 6 turbo diesel can take a BMW 3 series a from 50 up. Full leather 13 Bose speakers and air from Alaska, its blowing cold air, this truck performs with class, and 2500 rating, you can pull your mother in laws house wherever you want, effortlessly.

It gets terrible gas mileage, but it is paid for.
I like it looks good, it is t dependable and it is comfortable.. I dislike that the body is rusting away..

It is the most reliable vehicle I own, with plenty of power.
I like the features. It is a strong reliable vehicle. I do not like the fuel mileage. But I do like the dependability.
