2018 Nissan Murano Reviews

I love the ability to open/close the liftgate from the driver's seat as at the lift gate. I have not been able to use the motion-activated power liftgate feature to open it however. I also have the blind spot warning sensor which seems to go off while driving without an obstacle nearby. I like the navigation system as it seems to be very up to date with road additions or construction and blocked roads. The 8 inch screen is very easy to read in both daytime and nighttime light conditions. I have found that the Bluetooth connectivity does not give me as many options with carplay as it does if I connect using a USB cord to connect. This model also has a camera feature. When parked, I can press the camera button and see every side of the vehicle and if anything is in the way. The cameras are high quality and in color. The rear camera will also give an audible warning if a person or object is behind the vehicle while in the reverse gear. The adaptive cruise control feature is very nice on long trips. I will set it at a specific speed and as I approach another vehicle going slower this feature will adjust my speed to keep a distance that I set, behind them. I also love the driver seat memory feature. My husband and I can each pre-set our seat adjustments and easily change them between drivers. There is plenty of legroom in the front and the back. It is the perfect size for our family of 4 with enough storage space for large grocery trips.

Sunroof leaks. The trunk does not have enough space in the back of the SUV. Seats are comfortable. Love the lumbar support. Chrome on the trim and rims make the car look luxurious. Have driven this car on multiple vacations and it receives amazing mileage for an SUV. I cannot fit all of my luggage in the trunk when traveling with a small child. The black interior gets hot in the summer. The battery went out after only 1 year but the warranty covered it.

I love my murano! It drives so good and I have not had any issues with it! The heated seats and steering wheel are amazing in the winter. There is plenty of room for five adults in this car! The back seats fold down so easy that you can put tons of stuff inside. The navigation system is so easy to use and even shows the side roads that you wouldn’t think it would! We have also used the map to find lakes nearby and it was so easy to figure out how to get to them with using the map function. The cameras on the car get every angle and you can choose to look at the cameras even when you are not in reverse. This is so helpful with parking! Connecting my phone through Bluetooth is automatically done now and it makes things so easy. My phone rings on the car and my music is easily accessible. My only issue with this is if I get a text it automatically is on silent and I do not get the alert. Not sure if I am doing something wrong or if this is set to do on the car so you do not text and drive. I also like the fold down part in the back seat that holds drinks. When there is only four people in the car this is so helpful. There are so many bells and whistles on this thing I cannot even think of them all! My only regret is not getting the platinum addition so that I would have the cooling seats and steaming wheel for the hot summer months.

I haven't had any performance problems with my 2018 Nissan murano. I have been driving this car almost daily for a little under a year and it provides a smooth, safe ride every time. I love the rear-view camera and brake assist. Driving in a big, busy city is difficult with even the best drivers, so having bonus safety features is fantastic! The interior feels luxurious without the wallet-hurting price, especially with the seating, touch-to-start button, and impressive Bluetooth capabilities. Though there is not a ton of cargo space in the back, it is been enough for me so far. Same goes for the seating. I recommend this vehicle to anyone who is not looking for a whole lot of cargo space in a 5-person seater SUV that provides and smooth and safe ride!

The only problem I have experienced is the front sensor that alerts when you are approaching another vehicle needed to be replaced. It was no longer working and because of this the cruise control did not work. I wish the murano was bigger and higher off the ground because it feels more like a large car than an SUV. This is a very comfortable ride. The seats offer good back support without feeling stiff and hard. The Bose sound system is good quality and the backseat has ample leg space.

In my perspective, perfect SUV for a family hauling two toddlers and car seats around. Spacious and roomy, still holds a lot of trunk space. Could fit three car seats in back seat. It rides smoothly, even going over bumps in the road it does not take a huge hit. Not too bad on gas, I have zero car problems or car troubles. I love that it looks sleek on the outside for a “mom” vehicle. Reliability is a 10/10. Push start button, CarPlay, apple play, a/c and heat vents in the back seat. Touch button to open doors on outside of vehicle. I would go through Nissan again. Really great car!

The silver plate in the console is rubbing off and they replaced it once but the Corp office will not replace and Astana behind their craftsmanship. I have only had the car 6 months and started doing this also I don’t believe the emergency braking works. As I had a rogue before his one and the car only beeps when you get close to a car. It doesn’t stop. They told me I had to buy the SL to get the automatic braking and I was fooled! I told the dealership and they said the corporate people couldn’t text it because it was too dangerous. So they are just waiting for an accident to happen before they test it or look just.to it. Very sad and misleading

Best vehicle I have ever owned. I do animal rescue and often find myself on backroads that are not paved. I have always felt extremely safe and confident with the reliability of my murano. The high beams are fantastic at night for seeing both sides of the road. The blind spot warnings have been an excellent accident avoider. I especially love all the controls being at fingers reach. Last but not least, the air conditioned seats have made my driving life so comfortable!!

Nissan overall is a great car for families students in commuters. 10/10 on safety especially in snow or rough terrain. The interior and exterior of the Nissan murano sda very sleek luxurious comfortable in fitting for any individual. Spacious back seats with comfortable seating adjustments and great legroom for tall guests. Good touch screen is good size not too distracting not to smaller. Hands touch sensitivity is nice it also has dials in physical buttons on the front dashboard. It gives you control when you drive it has excellent Bluetooth connection with android and apple devices. The audio system is actually quite nice I plan to put in something better but it is pretty good for a crossover SUV. It has excellent gas mileage especially when travelling long road trips I get a good 27-28 miles per gallon for a 4 hour road trip 400 miles. Finally concern with the Nissan murano is its sensors for safety they should definitely be called defective and recalled. It has been an issue with me with the Nissan here in Montana they are not as helpful and cooperative as Honda and Toyota. I have driven this car in all seasons and I must say it excels best in winter. Overall the great car and we plan to use it as a family car for our future children. It is not too big not too smaller not too wide in not too tall. If you travel for a long time for your work reaches do lot of long road trips this is a great car it is comfortable and reliable.

This is by far the most comfortable vehicle I have ever owned and having the platinum edition makes it top of the line with almost everything. However, I wish it had air conditioned seats and a touchless liftgate for the rear door. My kids are all approaching 6’ quickly and all three fit in the back seat with minimal problems besides the normal sibling rivalry. The average mpg is 27/28 when I am in town and when I drive mostly highways the mpg is around 32/33. Gas mileage and comfort were the reasons for the purchase of my murano and it has exceeded every expectation.

Bought 2018 murano new. Drives smooth, accelerates adequately, gets great gas mileage and little wind noise. Seats are roomy, with lumbar support and memory to preset preferred position. Enjoy the ability to either heat or cool the seat, a first in my life. I love the sunroof/moonroof. Has just the right amount of tint that I keep the moonroof open at all times to enjoy the view without a sunburn in the summer. Air condition and heat work well. I am disappointed in the lack of vents for the backseat. One vent on the back of front seat console at the bottom. I have yet to figure out how to start the car while not actually being in the car to warm the car etc, how to work the in car phone for hands free as well as most of the extras I don't really 'need'. I still cannot get the back lift to open hands free. I still have items to explore.
