The 2019 Porsche Cayenne is redesigned luxury!
I absolutely love my Porsche! I was a bit hesitant in purchasing such a pricey vehicle at first but I knew I wanted a reliable vehicle as well as something luxurious to drive. Well I got just that. I enjoy driving places now and actually having comfortable seats. The only downside is the cargo space is slightly smaller than I'm used to In an SUV that size BUT if you're willing to see past that then I highly recommend this vehicle.

Cayenne is the move. Here is why!
No problems. Super reliable and great service when needed. Would recommend buying this car. Good mileage and a lot of space in the car. Can tow a boat and really can do whatever I need to do with this car. I hear the leases are also very good! Would buy again.

Truly an elegant experience in ultimate luxury driving.
Excellent vehicle. Buy a cayenne if you want the best handling midsize SUV. It has great handling and is an extremely smooth ride. It has a refined, elegant interior. It has soft beautiful seating. It is a brand I trust. I pay over $1000 per year in regular maintenance. There are minor issues. The dashboard UI has occasional bugs, but nothing compared to an older Porsche. Sometimes the breaks can act strange or make squealing noise. This is however probably extremely downplayed, as a person used to more mainstream cars would not notice any issues as I have.

Everyday I look forward to driving, it makes driving fun.
Cayenne, Twin-Turbo: runs like a scalded cat, Burmeister system is fantastic, electronics not quiet as intuitive as BMW or other German manufacturers, wonderful handling, incredible build quality, tight as a drum, best SUV on the planet. Period. Base model is rather sloppy, S model is a great compromise, Turbo is obscene.

Monitor systems and collision warning.
The car is great, but there are glitches in the computer monitor system. It can switch off while you are driving the car. Porsche usually does a software update but regardless of that it still sometimes will switch off in the middle of driving. Also, there is a collision warning system, which sometimes may randomly prompt the driver of a collision warning even though there is nothing in short distance of the car.

It is brand new, with advanced safety features and a very cool look.
My performance is highly advanced and I love it. There is so much speed, which I cannot do when the police is around haha. I am very obsessed with both the interior and exterior of my car. It is so beautiful. It consists of 8 speed shiftable automatic transmission. Lastly I have front wings, sloping hood with power domes.

It is wind shielding system that gives you protection.
Very reliable and has a nice deep sounding motor. It also has nice rims and exhaust pipes. I love it personally because of its speed with Porsche craftsmanship. I also like this care because of its blacked out rims. I like the color of the outside of it.

You get what you pay for.
The car's performance is really good. But I would not go on a track day with it. I didn't have any problems with reliability, no electronically problems or mechanical. I felt comfortable in German engineering and reliability status. The car feels stable and balanced when you hit a bumpy road, uneven pavement or hit a bridge on the highway. The interior is high-quality leather with beautiful stitching. The seats are comfortable and air cooled and heated as well if you pay a few bucks more. Our car has keyless entry as well as start function. The only problem which I have is with the comfort-trunk access where the sensor is under the bumper for your foot. If you are standing really close to the trunk it can close automatic while you are loading it.

Cabin noise
The cabin has a very high pitched whine when the car reaches speeds over 40 mph. Not the motor. I was told by the service manager at my dealership in Fresno CA that this was normal and would not address the problem further. I have asked to talk to the Porscha rep. Has anyone experienced this normal problem?

It has red seats which I love.
Seats are not very comfortable seats. Performance is good sometimes have issues with pick up and accelerating but love the sporty feel of the car. Wish there was a little more space. Love the look of the car and have leased the same car in 2016 and 2019.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Noura G.

This car is one of my favorites. It is fast, powerful, and spacious. It drive beautifully and has ample trunk space. Unlike the previous versions of Porsche cayenne the outer material of the car has been updates to a lighter weight and the height is also 4 cm shorter than the older version. Driving the 2019 model is a completely different experience from the older model especially with the updated technology and the touch screen.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Noura G.

Screen and navigation can switch off while driving, and this is to do with software glitches in the car. The collision warning can randomly come on and the car could make a sudden movement to alert you of a collision when there is no car in sight (again software issue). The built in gate or garage opener may not work on some vehicles even though the model of the gate/garage opener is listed as compatible with car garage/gate opener switch. Again, these things are random and Porsche does not have an answer as to why this happens. They just end up updating the software and hope that it works the next time around.
