The 2002 Ford Explorer is available across four trim levels with two different engines. It has two different available tires: the Limited and Eddie Bauer edition each come with P245/70R16 tires, whereas the XLS and XLT come with P235/70R16 tires. Each has a recommended inflation of 32 pounds per square inch, with a maximum inflation of 36 PSI. While it's possible to increase Your inflation froM32 PSI while under heavy load, You should never exceed the maximum inflation of 36, else You're risking a blowout. The wheels that these tires sit on each measure 16 inches in diameter by 7 inches in width. More specifically, they're 7Jx16 ET44. The bolt pattern iS5x114.3, and the center bore iS70.6mm. There are five lug nuts per wheel, each having thread which measures 1/2" - 20 UNF.

The tire size for the 2002 Ford Explorer is Front Tire P235/70R16 and Rear Tire P235/70R16. The recommended tire pressure for the is front 30 psi and rear tire is 35 psi. The standard wheel size is 16" silver aluminum wheels.
