The 2005 Nissan Maxima came from the factory with two different tire sizes and it will depend on which trim package it has. The SE models have P245/45R18 tires which are mounted on 18 diameter wheels that are 7.5 wide. The SL models have P225/55R17 and they are mounted rims that are 17 diameter and 7 wide. The tires should be rotated a couple times a year so that the tread wears evenly. Move the rear wheels to the front, keeping them on the same side and put the right front on the left rear and left front on the right rear. The Maxima has a recommended tire pressure of 32 psiAnd they should be check regularly for proper inflation. This is to optimize the fuel economy but reduces wear on the tires.
