The 2007 Subaru Forester has a P215/60R16 size tire that comes on it from the factory. This number looks complex, but it is simple to break down when You know what each number means. The first number, 215, is the tire's width in millimeters. The next number, 60, is the tire's sidewall height in millimeters. The final number, 16, is the wheel diameter in inches. This means that You have a 16 inch wheel. Subaru recommends that You inflate Your tires to 35 psi each. Keeping Your tires inflated is good because it helps keep Your braking distances correct, and helps Your tires last longer. Tires that are over or under inflated will wear down faster.

29 psi is too low, will adversely affect handling and will wear the shoulders of the tires. 35 is a more correct number, depending on the mftr, I would set to 38.
Can Iput 225/60R16 on my 2007 Subaru Forester
